One of the biggest thrills of the DVD era is the release of many forgotten films/shows that I never thought would be available. While obtaining all on this list are impossible...here are some I have my eyes on:
Robert Benchley and the Knights of the Algonquin
An acquired taste, Benchley is not well remembered, but he is an incredible essayist/humorist and these shorts were takes on some pieces he had written.
Danger Man and Secret Agent
BBC television series from the 60s starred Patrick McGoohan, one of my favorites.
The Art of Buster Keaton
Pricey but what seems to be a very exhaustive library of Keaton's work. Keaton was a master at what he did in silent films, probably even more so than Chaplin...but not nearly as well known.
Slapstick Encyclopedia
This looks like a great set of shorts featuring well known and some forgotten stars of the slapstick era.
Rat Patrol
Mission Impossible
Rawhide
Cheyenne
Emergency
Outer Limits
Television series that were among my favorites growing up.
Ellery Queen
If and when it is ever released (crossing fingers)
