Been awhile...

Been awhile since I posted here. Getting back to it hopefully. I've been working on my radio collection, transcribing my first interview with my father, spent time with my nephews this summer and wanting to get involved in writing a book on life in the "old days". Dunno if I can pull it off.

The Republican convention is on this week. Havent watched a minute of it. Its surprising. Used to be I lived for elections, conventions, election night. I researched political elections dating back to who knows when...both presidential and senate. At one point, I could name every senator and who they defeated in the last few elections. Cant do that now. Bill Clinton killed that for me. He singlehandedly nearly destroyed my belief in the political system. With help from the liberal media I might add. The hypocrisy and disingenuousness of the left (Democrats) is unbelievable in its complete totality. They *both media and the left* are barren of any moral compass, belief or virtue.

Yet, one never hears of this because the left leaning media do a very good job of cloaking it. If you dont talk about it, it doesnt exist. The hypocrisy is evident however when you see Republicans, conservatives, religious believers held to a different standard, critisized and vilified for actions, thoughts, beliefs far less extreme than the left.
